The results of the online research in the participated countries

An on line questionnaire was setup on the website of the project, and all partner countries were in charge in spreading this questionnaire among young people and youth workers from their countries. We received answers 935. The results of the online research was used in the project activities and published on the website of the project (Platform) in our Booklet.

Target group: 935 people/partner including young people, youth workers, teachers, social workers, youth leaders – anonym – country of origin

Survey.com: Studio Progetto was responsible for the technical background, YOPA was for the questionnaire. All partners asked the questionnaire to fill in offline and online based on its possibilities, and all filled it online in the end. Original offline ones were brought to Italy for the mid-term meeting. The results were summarised by each partner and made a research report based on guiding questionnaires. The research reports was sent to Studio Progetto and published in the Booklet and Platform. Its results were used to the development of the further educational materials of the project.

Our educational booklet

Our educational booklet addressing all professionals who directly working with young people in general and young people with fewer opportunities especially with refugees, migrants and IDPs background in particular such as

  • youth workers, youth leaders;
  • teachers;
  • social workers;
  • psychologists.

It contains the following elements:

  • description of the project;
  • outcomes of the local researches on the reasons of ignoring, generating fears from immigrants, and becoming racists connected to immigration;
  • non-formal learning methods invented and practiced by participants on development of intercultural sensitiveness;
  • non-formal learning methods invented and practiced by participants on campaigning against xenophobia and racism towards refugees and migrants in local levels;
  • non-formal learning methods, tools and techniques invented and practiced by participants on employability of immigrants.

It was published in hard copy and uploaded as an E-booklet to our Platform, webpages and SALTO.

Common strategy entitled “We are all (im)migrants”

It was finalised during A8 November 29 to December 2, 2018 Conference on (im)migration regarding fights against xenophobia and racism in San Isidro, Costa Rica.

It was made based on the results of local researches on the reasons of ignoring, generating fears from immigrants, and becoming racists connected to immigration; outcomes of local youth campaigns on  human rights against racism and xenophobia.

It aims at respecting the universal human rights of immigrants and supports their acceptance by local communities.

Its target groups are decision makers locally, European and international level.

It was spread to the local and European politicians on the represented countries. It is readable on the Platform and in our Booklet.
